Yes it rained!

I woke up this morning around 5:30 am. I look outside and see clouds starts to dark. I say a little prayer hoping it will rain and it did!! The plants, grasses, and birds are for sure extremely happy! And so do I!

                              Yes I enter a Free Photo Contest at My Retirement Chronicles blog. I think today will be the judgement day, lol! There is no million of dollar prize but the pride of being a winner is great! Here is my entry.

Am I This Color Blind?

Happy Sunday to all my friends! Okey here is what I like to talk about today. As I was browsing my post this week I notice right away, and saying to myself wha am I thinking? Am I this color blind? AS IN REALLY?? Look at my September 30, 2011 post which titles PINK AND GREEN. Yup that post, this flower is not PINK but ORANGE!! omg! Now I confirm that I am truly a color blind. I can easily interchange  the GREEN from BLUE or BLUE to GREEN, easy!! I even have a hard time figuring out the blue and green or green or blue. What a mess huh? I just hope that I won't have a hard time figuring out the BLACK and WHITE, God forbid!!!

Ah-hummm, quite please now let me see. I see yellow, green, red, orange, I think a bit of maroon but I am talking only with the primary colors hehe. And oh yes I see white and black (the tag price hehe) see it? I think that's the color I see here and please do not tell me there is brown, blue or violet here because I know there is none. ^_^ Crossing my finger.

Last Night

Last night I was all alone hubby was at Illinois and doesn't come until later tonight. The feeling is not good because I am not used to be alone at home. I kept myself busy and to do that I was thinking of taking a night photo shooting. I just did it at the porch. I was taking the photos of the corn crib and the hay baler. But it doesn't take me long seems like I heard people all around me when it was already about 12 midnight ^_^ When it started to bother me, how come it feels like not quite, I packed up and went inside the house lol!! In a hurry of course hahaha.

Spider web

This is the most I can do. Spider web fascinates me and I now find it very hard to capture. It takes me hours to wait and look for the right time to take a shot and when I did, I was swarmed by mosquitoes and other kind of insect I think of wearing a helmet lol!! The morning I tried to take a photo the spider run for her life. I won't kill nobody that's what I told her ^_^ and don't know if they can hear us or what she stayed on top of her web but the web fell off, then the wind is not cooperating, the sun is too shiny so off I go. Then I came back later in the afternoon, the sun is not too bright now, the wind calm downed, and the spider is on the center of the web. But I thought it's just an easy shot it takes me FOREVER!! Yes I should capitalized that word because it's what happened though. But here is my motto "no retreat no surrender" so stayed there and snap snap more than 100X and I've got only 2 nice ones (for my standard lol). 

Fake or genuine?

I wish

           I took this picture not knowing what comes out when it will be uploaded and I can see it up close in my monitor. I found out this photo looks very serene and peaceful. Looks like the family is quiet and just taking time to be silent and just enjoy the serenity around them. Then after a while of looking at it, I thought of wishing that somehow I had this kind of time with my parents before they passed away. They both worked hard but we don't have this kind of being together. But oh well life has to moved on, can't remain on the past. What about you blog friends what can you see in this photo? Dragonfly photo shoot

This afternoon when the sun is not too hot I went outside and tried to find dragonflies and butterflies. If you always came to visit my blog I don't have those kind of photography since I couldn't catch them. But this afternoon I had this tiny dragonfly and for some reason when I approached where this dragonfly landed it didn't fly quick but stayed where it was. What I like to know if this round one is an eye? If this is an eye then this dragonfly is enjoying what he/she sees because I have a good time taking photos as this dragonfly is my model ^_^

Orange head Wood pecker

I hope the snow is gone. It's about time here in Michigan to see sun and feel warm once again. We've been hibernating for many months and I already had this so called cabin fever. 

Early this morning I woke up with the sound of birds chirping in their beautiful songs. Actually, I didn't know if they are singing, gossiping or what...but the different sound just seem like a melody to me. ^_^

So I fall to sleep again, lol!! I wanted to get up early because I knew that birds come to my bird feeder early in the morning. I remember my mother told me "early bird catches worm", well she is referring to us kids to get up early so we are not late for school. Luckily, this morning though I was late taking picture of the birds. I spotted this huge orange colored wood pecker. The orange color on the head is so prominent I can see it even if I am behind the curtain trying to conceal myself. Ain't this bird pretty??

Deer oh deer!

I was talking my friend over the phone when hubby called me. He was only gesturing me to come and looked at the window. So I get up and proceeded to the window and deer oh deer, I saw them! For so long a time I haven't seen them and I kind of missed them. At our backyard  there were like four deers and they are huge. I didn't see any buck but I saw two or three medium ones. So I say bye bye to my friend and hurriedly grabbed my camera and ran out. I didn't put any jacket I don't have time for that lol! While outside I knew by just a little sound they can hear me so I quietly hide myself behind the woodshed. I was a bit far from them but I still manage to take a picture of them. Stayed at the backyard for awhile taking pictures then I noticed I started to froze lol!!! It's very cold and I  am still sick I'd tell you ^_^. I managed to get close to the deer but as they noticed that I am already closed to them they started to ran back to the woods. But oh well I have a good shot I guess. Gonna upload it first then I am going to post it here soon!

Personalize blog

I've been enjoying my own domain and to tell you I like to put my photos here and hoping that no one would steal it. I own three domain now and so far it's a nice feeling. As I was browsing around I knew that some bloggers are earning money through their blogs by reviews and endorsement, etc. But what I observed is that their are many blogs now that you don't know who owned it because I couldn't find a face of the author. I was told that one requirements to be paid for advertising or reviewing a certain a product is that a blog should have the look of more on personalize than advertisement. But as what I have seen it is not. Anyhow, I like to comment and visit blogs that I see the face of the author and if I couldn't find one I'll run, lol!!

Cold outside

I woke up this morning very early around 5:30am. As I usually do after I  woke up I immediately look outside and saw this peachy foggy color. I attempted to go outside but found out that it's snowing and it's too cold. So I was not able to take a photo of the beautiful color around. Taking photography as a hubby makes me feel so good. I love to see nature and to be with nature. I knew that even if we are covered with snow and everything around is white there is always a beauty with it. Now I am waiting for the sun to rise to take a photo while it's foggy and see if I can get a good shot. 

4 days to go

Yes it's four days to go and I am going to start my 365 Photo challenge. I am challenging myself to do this and will see if I can do it hehe. I am still thinking if I am going to take a photo in one day then post it every day for the next days or take a photo every day and post the best one, will see. Anyhow, New year celebration is fast approaching, please be safe!

Personal: I promise

I promised myself last month that I am going to start a 365 photos to show in this blog. And that would supposedly start last December 1. And you know what I remember it, it was December 5 already a bummer!! LOL! Now I vow again to start a 365 photo challenge this coming January 1. So if somebody could poke me over this idea please poke me hehehehe. I don't want to miss again this time. And it would be nice to start the challenge on the first day of the year right?
