Yellow Mean Looking Orchids

Dancing Lady

My mother loves orchid and one orchid she used to have is the dancing lady. I do not know if this is the name of this orchid but my mother told me it's a dancing lady. She said to me one time "take a good look and focus your eyes to the flower, does it look like a lady dancing to you?" I just nod my head because I can't believe it, it does look like a lady dancing a flamingo. What you think?

I am juggling if I would post this photo and say something about it because this just reminds me of my mother, her love of flowers. If only she is still alive I will buy the most beautiful orchid she could think of. Because a mother should be happy at all times and a daughters duty is to make her happy. I would not make this post longer because it made me feel sad. Ciao!

Mr & Mrs Baltimore Oriole

It's been almost eight years that I have not seen Baltimore Orioles. It was last year that I spotted one right above of me when I was taking photos of the Apple blossoms. Right there I believe that they are just around the corner. These year I bought a book from Cracker Barrel about birds and what to expect on a certain month. I also found out what specific fruit or bird food  to put for specific birds. So one day I went to the store and did bird shopping. One thing with Baltimore Oriole they love jellies and oranges and I have plenty of those. For about a week of observing and prying if Orioles came it did. Not just the male Baltimore Oriole but also the female. I read that they are not the kind of bird that very easily go to a feeder and they like to stay on top of the bird and catching a very colorful vibrant orangey color is there weakness. Thankfully, the day before my flight coming to the Philippines a couple came and show there beautiful color and they seem like hungry, lol!

Spring Flowers

I saw this one pot of flowers in our local grocery store yesterday. I checked it out immediately and discovered it has three different kind of flowers.  I bought it and thought of planting them after spring or until there are no flowers blossoming.

Icicles

Icicle is fun to shot. Very challenging because it's white. But I found out if the background is blue or green like in my photo you can take a good photo.

Imperfections

I found out that most of what we photographed is the flawless, beautiful flowers that we could find in our garden or anybody’s garden. However, what about those flowers who has its own imperfection? I noticed just recently that I took many photos of flowers that has imperfections. Subconsciously, I am attracted to these kinds of flowers and looking at the photos that I took this morning I can relate this to people. Many do not want to take photos that are not stunning, beautiful, or flawless. We are attracted to what our eyes see as beautiful because that is what the society says about beauty. Those who are well proportion body, shiny hair, beautiful lips etc. However, we all have imperfections we may like it or not and that is the reality, as the saying goes “Nobody is Perfect” and so as the flowers.
