February is the month when I do feel winter is not fun anymore. Stand Up

Last Saturday hubby and I and a friend attended a Stand Up for Religious Freedom rally near our area. This is my first time to attend a rally here in the US and the feeling is awesome when you can show your solidarity to people and stand up for what you believe in.

A friend of ours went to Mackinaw City, Michigan last Labor day weekend. While she was there enjoying the 5 miles walk across the Mackinaw Bridge she called me if she wants something from there. Of course without further ado, I told her I want smoke fish and fudge. When she got home she brought me smoked salmon and a chocolate almond fudge, I was happy she is so sweet. Anyhow, while devouring the fudge I noticed something on the label...and tell me why it cannot be refrigerated but can be frozen?

Solanus Casey Center

I like visiting monasteries. One that hubby and I visited was the St. Bonaventure Monastery where Fr. Solanus Casey is buried. The place is very quiet and serene the place I like to take time to pray and reflect. I also take noticed of the signs inside the monastery..

Fr. Solanus Casey comes from Wisonsin. 

I so wish I did take the photo of the English interpretation of this sign.

The Eye

                I had several photos that I took last Sunday but I choose the photo below to be my entry this week. I looked again the photo and reading the MEAT sign my eyes noticed tiny eyes on the side part of the photo. I looked at it closely it's a baby girl watching me. I did not noticed this girl when I took the photo that is why I am surprised to see it. I wonder what she is thinking when she saw me too. ^_^
