This is my Iris and they are in bloom. I remember few years ago when I got it from the first time this is not the original color. Before it was a bit of red and pink but now the peach color is dominant and it is just beautiful and they are in bloom!! I am juggling if I will cut two or three flowers to put in a vase or just remain it in the garden and let it withered. Suggestion?

I love iris...and the pink hue of the petals is outstanding!!
My Macro Lantana is HERE I do hope you can stop by to visit with me today.
Wonderful photos of wonderful iris, Kim! I think they wither faster when cut only lasting a couple days. :(
It sure is a pretty iris! I should get outside and take a close up of mine. You have inspired me.
Beautiful! It's always a dilemma with flowers isn't it? Cut them to enjoy inside the house, or leave them outside, see less of them, but then they last longer!
This is a wonderful looking flower, a great macro shot as well.
and to answer your question, for the regular 1:1 macro shot im using a tamron 60mm macro lens.
for the super macro, beyond 1:1- i am using 68mm extension tube+ tamron 60mm macro+ nikon 50mm reverse mounted on the tamron + window light.
magnification can be push a bit more closer by adding a 2x teleconverter lens to the setup
What a beautiful flower. I want one in my garden now lol.
Splendid. You can almost smell it!

Hi, I'm late to Macro Monday this week, many days late! You asked why my peony took so long to bloom. I had purchased a part of a plant at a yard sale and it took that long to recover!
I love your iris, they are so pretty.
