The last time I went to an eye doctor was 3 or 4 years ago. I knew then what is going on with my eye so the doctor gave me an eyeglasses. To my surprised it was too expensive because hubby also got a new pair of eyeglasses and he had his eye check-up too it cost us way beyond my expectation. To add with my dissatisfaction I don't like my eyeglasses, it was too cheap looking and for the amount that I pay I was so disappointed. Hubby and I never went back to buy another eyeglasses. I was thankful that one time I saw this friend in the mall and I was so enthralled by how pretty her eyeglasses look. So I asked her where she got it and she told me where she bought it and to my surprised it was just cheap!

I am so tickled you got new eyeglasses. Our eyes are so important and we need to be seeing the best at all times.

We are lucky in France. I should say that we have been lucky so far as very probably things will change soon due to so much abuse. We hardly pay for our medical care and all that is related to it. I saw my eye doctor a few weeks ago and will change my glasses (although my eyes have not changed in three years or so). I will probably pay about 200 euros for three pairs at Afflelou's. Glasses are very modern there and you can spend hours trying them on :-))
