Not only a long time ago that hubby and I bought six pots of Lavender. Three pots are much bigger than the other three pots so when I planted them all the bigger ones are now blooming. Though it is not much yet but hey I am harvesting my first Lavender and I am very excited!
I have one small bunch and now these Lavender is drying. I am looking for more Lavender recipe and on how to make a water Lavender. I am very excited for next year because I know next year my six Lavenders will bloom like crazy ^_^

I love lavender/lavendar. I keep a bottle of the essential oil in my home. I love lavender mixed with olive oil or shea butter. I make body scrubs. I enjoy lavender with rosemary, too. I mix them both together and use as a hair conditioner. I use a few drops on my mattress to make my bedding and bedroom smell great. Many think of it as granny's oil, but I love lavender. Enjoy! Cheers!!
Oh, I just love lavender! There are so many uses for it. Enjoy your first batch. Have you ever tried making lavender sugar?
I too have lavender, peppermint and lemon oil. But the lavender water is what I spray on our pillows and blankets before we sleep. Love the smell and make us relax. ^_^
Hi Donna I haven't tried anything yet since it's my first pick and it's not too many yet. ^_^
Must try lavender sugar. That would be great in tea. But not sure about my morning java. LOL! Cheers Kim!!
Yes, very nice pictures, excellent framing and beautiful colors, I love lavender. Greetings.
I always enjoy harvesting the lavender every year from the garden and hanging bunches around the house which will last right through until next year.
I have to look a recipe for lavender sugar sounds good to me! ^_^
Hope next year I could harvest plenty and make sachets from the seeds. ^_^
Lucky you! I love everything about lavender. When we lived in Chile, we had a huge bush of it right by our front door. I always ran my hand over when I went into the house. Heavenly.

Hi Kim! Love your blog... I am in the swap, too, and really enjoyed learning about you here. I live in SW Virginia. I've got a big pot of lavender, my very first, and I have no idea what to do with it! I want to harvest it, dry it, and put it in sachets for my drawers. do you know how?
I'm at ArtyKat at me dot com and also View-of-the-Bear.blogspot.com
Oh yes we often used to have lavender sachets in our drawers, good idea. In reply to your question about the hazelnuts, yes we peel them.
