Bleeding Heart in Summer?

Even the flowers seems confuse with the weather or the world too! ^_^ This morning as I was walking around the house checking my flower beds and vegetables I noticed my bleeding heart had bloom! I thought what is going on here? I thought bleeding heart just bloom in spring and not in summer what you think?

Very poetic photograph. The placement of the flowers are bringing out the depth of image. The flower itself seems to drip with honey.

Those are beautiful blooms - I don't think I've ever really seen bleeding heart plants up that close. They are awesome - very unique. Yes, the weather all around is pretty odd and interesting - I can only imagine how it sets off plants and confuses them - get a dose of that myself sometimes!

Happy Pink Saturday!

A bleeding heart bloom this late in the summer does seem very unusual. Your photo of them is excellent in terms of detail and rich color. Fine work!
