Great shots. I can just picture the Black Eyed Susan unfolding its petals one by one.
I have both of these in my garden and they are faithful returners! Enjoy.
Hello Nancy, yes that is what I like in a flower they will return every year and hope they multiply each year too. ^_^
Absolutely beautiful!
We have these growing wild near our home, they are such coo looking flowers!
Your photography is beautiful. I would love to see those flowers finished blooming. Thanks for visiting my Blue Picnic today.
Have a Blessed Day,
Sherry
I too love the look of the black-eyed susan and all flowers before they come to their full beauty.. You had commented on my hummingbird clearwing moth..here is where they are...
"Alaska and the Northwest Territories south through British Columbia to Oregon; east through the Great Plains and the Great Lakes area to Maine and Newfoundland; south to Florida and Texas." http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/species/Hemaris-thysbe
beautiful shot Kim! thanks for the visit!
Beautiful! I love the "hairs" on the clematis bud.
So pretty to see these still folded - just waiting to surprise you!
My susans are in just about the same stage. Can't wait to see them all open! And I so want to see your clematis! I planted one earlier this year and had to put in a larger trellis. I was so happy with it, I planted a second one...now I'm not sure it will make it. Looking forward to seeing yours in bloom!
What an interesting flower! Quite beautiful even though it hasn't opened yet!
Beautiful shots! I love all the stages of flowers blooming.
