Signs

I found these signs while we were visiting our local hatchery in my hometown in the Philippines.

See the sign Hatchery? I hope so hehe!

The sign does conjure a lot of images, especially to those who have not been to the country.

i've never been to a hatchery--i wonder why.:p
but i remember a college friend whose family owned a bangus/prawn/crab farm--we used to stay in the farm on weekends and binge on prawns and crabs and tuba. oh, wow. i miss those days! LOL

I like shrimp culture - made me imagine all these shrimp at the opera or a museum :)

Nice shots - that's not something I'll see in my part of the world!

Beautiful place, Kim. I hope the shrimp there in the Philippins are better than the ones coming from the Gulf her in the US. I heard that they are being born without any eyes and other deformities due to BP oil spill a couple of years ago. Cheers!!

Wonderful sign. Shrimp culture brings strange images to mind. Very small culture?

You have a really nice blog and wonderful photos. Last time I was in the Philippines, my mother-in-law got some old signs (mainly propane advertisements) for me to put in my garage... I actually have them posted on my website. I have always thought that the Philippines has some really cool signage (in addition to all the other natural beauty there.

The places you have shown here look so familiar to me, and reminds me of places I've seen in Misamis Occidental on Mindanao, although I am sure the setting could be in many places in the Philippines. Very nice photography!

Looking forward to reading more of your blog. Feel free to stop by mine anytime; I have lots of photos and posts of my family's travels in the Philippines.

Ingat!
