Banana Tree

This is a banana tree looks like. Sometimes in one tree there are two bunches or more. I found the fence fascinating too because I know this fence would keep a thief from stealing the banana. ^_^

That is certainly one way to protect a banana tree!
I wouldn't attempt to cross it. :)

I've only seen banana trees at the botanical gardens in the greenhouse, no barbed wire fence there!

A barbed wire fence. So what are they trying to keep out the monkeys?

Is the fence to keep people or animals out--or both? Wonderful color on these.

The bunch of bananas almost looks like an unusual flower form! The fence would definitely keep me out.

As bananas as I eat I would love to have one of these trees in my yard. But, alas I will have to settle for overripe bananas from the grocery store.
