The Alamo

We visited Alamo last Saturday though it was raining hard I manage to take a lot of photos. I was very concern of my camera than myself ^_^ that hubby was already eager to go back to the mall than staying outside, lol!

The Alamo is so special - a symbol of people fighting the noble fight against all odds. I believe that Santa Ana may have won the battle then, but lost the war later as Texas gained their independence. Glad uo capture the picture in the rain!

Jim Bowie, one of Alamo's heroes, died there. I'm related to him--imagine! Thanks for taking me along to visit. Thanks for sharing your blues.

Happy Blue Monday, Kim.

You are brave to be out in that rain with your camera but the results are very good!

I hate when it rains when I'm out with my camera. However, I think these are wonderful shots!

Great shots. I like the moody look of wet scenery and cheerful umbrellas. The stone walls and the mighty tree.
Thanks for a lovely guided tour!
