Abandoned

I forgot what State or Interstate we were, when we saw this truck. What made me sad is that when we passed this truck the front cab is gone. A few meters away is a truck stop and there it was we saw cops and the remains of the cab it was not a skeleton it was all debris. We wonder if the person driving the truck survived or gone in this freak accident. But hoping he survive.

Sad about the truck accident. I hope the driver was okay. The old abandoned barn was once a fine structure. Too bad it has been left to decay and once day disappear.

What a great barn picture. It's a shame so many barns are abandoned nowadays.

Oh goodness, sad about the accident. The barn doesn't look long for this world.

Sights like that truck always make my blood run cold! Whereas old barns warm my heart, even when they are as sad a sight as this one is.

Hope no one was hurt badly in that accident! The authorities just leave the truck there?

That barn skeleton is the essence of abandonment. It looks like it has been picked clean of anything but the bones. I like it very much.

Highways always have reminders for me to pay attention. Not always as dramatic as your truck shots but I often notice skid marks, scarred trees and realize that each and every one was an accident of some kind.

scary first two shots, and total abandonment on the old barn. beautiful even as if falls a part

The aftermath of accidents are such sobering sights, we all think we will remember and take heed but it's surprising how quickly we forget, until the next one.
That barn is great though, it must be sheer willpower holding it upright...ish!

that barn must have been a beauty in its hayday. I just can never understand letting it go. why not dismantle it and sell the (highly valued) used wood. I just don't understand. good post.
