Walgreens Prescription Savings Club

Walgreens is our pharmacy for year. It is not because it is close to us but because we love their Walgreens Prescription Savings Club. Do you hear this savings club? If not you can go to the store and get a special discount on annual membership. Here is what you can get for $10 a year; a family membership covers everyone in your immediate family, including a spouse, dependents 22 and younger and pets! How cool is that huh! Individuals may join for $5.00, everyone is welcome to join and receive a tremendous discount prices on your prescriptions. When I was in the Philippines, I used to buy generic medications than brand name. Can we get it in Walgreens too? Yes of course, the benefits to be in Walgreens are a savings on more than 8,000 brand names and all generic medication. Discounts on flu shots, pet prescriptions, nebulizer and diabetic supplies. Bonuses when you buy Walgreens brand products and photofinishing services, which I am an avid fan too. 

However, something not good is happening at Walgreens. Express Scripts is no longer in contract with Walgreens. These lead to many customers to go to another pharmacy and pay a high cost of medication without any discounts or any benefits. It does upset us in so many ways.
