Friday Fences

At Cedar Point.

At Chicago. Fences separates the people from the speeding cars.

At Chicago. I think this is a museum and it is surrounded by a fence.
I am linking to Friday Fences

I like the last fence - if you look closely, there are motifs in the upper part of the fence! Really unusual!

I'm glad you captured some 'urban' fences for us Kim. :)
I think sometimes we overlook these common barries in the city.
Love the yellow accent in the first one and the colonial feel of the last one.
Nice finds!

That fence in Chicago doesn't look too sturdy! These are neat. Have a great weekend,

There is a poem by Frost where he talks about fences and why people need them. After reading that poem, I have a newfound appreciation for them. Great post Kim. Cheers!!

those two are familiar Chicago scenes! and I don't think they would be dressed like that on a day like today - the highs here are in the low 40's. and it's terribly windy. our weather is headed your way! happy weekend to you Kim.

I love fences too. Being in an historical town we have every type of fence imaginable. We did fences once on FSO. Great job here.

Re the fine print--do you know what the "Sue Dig" exhibit is all about? Been a long time since I visited Chicago--love its museums and gallaries. The fence in front of the museum has some lovely ornamentation on the top run.

I so wish I had a fence around my yard - then I might (might!!) consider getting a dog. Oh well. I love your post and you can bet I will be looking at fences when I'm out tomorrow.

Some fences are needed but I wish they would make them nicer and with character
