What is Papillon?


                                   I do not know what Papillon means but I saw this word on an old paper and
                                                        do the macro shots.

Papillon is too a name of an American movie from 1973 directed by Franklin J. Schaffner and starring Steve McQueen, Dustin Hoffman, Victor Jory, Don Gordon and Anthony Zerbe. The argument is written by Lorenzo Semple Jr. and Dalton Trumbo, adapted the autobiography of Henri Charrière with the same name.
It tells the story of a man unjustly imprisoned on Devil's Island in French Guiana.

Papillon is French for butterfly. Chaka Khan made a beautiful song about this.
