Acorn Reflection

I am fascinated with acorn it is very beautiful. Linking this photo with

I think it is my first time to see acorn in person. And I tried not to bite the nut because for sure it will bring damage to my teeth. I wonder how the squirrel could open this kind of nut with out breaking its tooth. ^_^  I am linking this post to  WEEKEND REFLECTION

Great picture Kim - did you know acorns are one of Deer's favorite food? They suck them in whole...never chew them - just inhale

I can tell you what they taste like. After learning about California Indians in 3rd grade I went out and mashed up acorns and ate them. They're bitter and terrible!

Excellent shots Kim. Acorns are pretty bitter, you don't want to be biting into one!

Hi Kim, You have made simple little acorns look so lovely! For some strange reason we don't have many acorns here in Massachusetts this fall.
