Hass Avocado Recipe Contest

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hass Avocado Board featuring Hass Avocados for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

The first time I went grocery shopping I saw avocados. I was very happy because avocado is one of my favorite fruit. I looked at the price and the tag but it says Guacamole. I guess Avocado and Guacamole are the same fruit but has different name depending what country you came from. Since I was young every time Avocado is in season my mother always bought it for us. Here is some good information about Avocado or Guacamole.

>One-fifth of a medium avocado (1 oz.) has 50 calories and contributes nearly 20 vitamins and minerals, making it a nutrient-dense food choice.
>Avocados contribute good fats to one’s diet.
>Over 75% of the fat in avocados is unsaturated making them a great substitute for foods high in saturated fat.
Here is the good news. Hass Avocados is holding a “Kick Off with Hass Avocados Recipe Contest” and there are two ways to participate:
1. A weekly sweepstakes where they giveaway a box of avocados for 14 consecutive weeks!
