Water Story

I don't know if this is only here in the US that if there is a body of water usually houses is also built around it. And that is not all if you live close to a lake or river your property value is higher than others. Last Sunday, I went pontoon boating with friends. And here are some of my picstory:

                                                                 Boat launch area

                                                                             Huge houses

                                                                   Silhouette shot

The end of the lake is this little bridge

Enjoyed this photo journey round a delightful watery area! And those houses are most desirable for their style and views!

I think it is much the same in Australia too, people enjoy looking at water even if they don't enjoy being in/on it. Those houses are massive!

Wonderful houses! I hope all the children living there can swim, for I know people living near a canal or other waterway, who lost a child by drowning. Children love playing near water.
Thanks for your comment. I know that there are children all over the world who are abused and have to work at an early age. That's why we have to support UNICEF, Oxfam Novib, Fairtrade and many others.

I so totally agree with Mama Zen. Perfect place for raising a family or just a single occupant. I can only imagine the wonderful time you had. And, yes, living near or around water increases the property value tremendously. Great pics Kim. Cheers!!
