Chinese Lantern

I can't wait this flower to change it's color. It will become orange color and the texture is like
a paper and it stays long to wither.

Here are some facts of this plant WIKIPEDIA

I have fond memories of seeing this plant in the fall. It's lovely in green, too.

I've only ever seen photos of this plant but I have seen just how gorgeous the bloom is. Great close-ups of the bud.

I used to have these in my garden. They wanted to grow everywhere so I finally got rid of them. Now I wish I had them back... They are lovely when they change color but they are also beautiful when green as you've shown us!

I don't think I've ever seen these before. I like the 'fuzzy' details.

It's amazing how great minds think alike. I am so facinated by plants. Being born under an earth sign - just my nature. I want to buy some palms, begonias, succulents, and lilys-of-the-valley. This plant is beautiful, indeed. Cheers!!

It would be wonderful to see the green lantern transform to a red one. Will it pop?
