Yesterday, we had a very high temperature we reached up to 90F and if you are from Michigan this is too hot already. But later in the afternoon it rained!! It was not just like a shower or light rain it's heavy that when I noticed it I was kind of too late the clothes that I hung outside was already wet but still I managed to take them out from the clothesline. So after the rain was gone I went outside and the surrounding felt so good, I could felt the ground, tiny creatures and all the plants are rejoicing, for they had a good sun that day and later that afternoon it rained soaking the ground well. I grabbed my camera and off I go to take pictures which was the right time when the sun tried to peaked through the light gloomy sky. But the sun didn't make it since it was already dusk but it leave a beautiful festive looking sky which I just watched and thanking to the Creator who made this wonderful miracle every single day!! I liked your description of the day with its hot sunlight followed by a real rain. The smells after a heavy rain are something I rarely experience here where it seems to shower or sprinkle more than rain. Fine flower shots enhanced by the droplets. Good looking shots.
