I just want to show off my white peonies. I bought this flower three years ago. When I went to our local nursery store I saw the name Doreen peonies and it so happened that my step daughter's name is Doreen. Doreen already passed away almost three years now and this flower reminds me of her. Now it blooms so many that I had to cut many of them and put them on the vase. The house smells so good and just Lilacs, peonies flower don't last long.
I took these photos two days ago. Yesterday, I had to cut many of the flowers because almost all the stem are on the ground. There are many flowers in one stem and the blooms are huge, plus the wind and rain the other night that makes it heavier. But even if I cut many flowers there are still many that are starting to open. I am so happy that this flower grow very well. Next time I am going to show off my pink peonies. Watch out for that ^_^

wow! I'm, sadly, a seasonal gardener - wish I had more time to do it regularly.

Lovely capture, nice use of dof.
Hi Kim,
Peonies are my favorite. I wish that we could grow them here in Central Oregon, but we can't.
How sweet that they have the same name as your step-daughter, and how sad that she is gone.
Thanks so much for stopping by, Kim. I hope that you have a wonderful weekend,
Kathy M.
