This past few days I noticed that mushroom are sprouting every where and wish that I knew them and if they are edible. I love mushroom and since I don't have any idea if it's edible or not I stay at the safer side I just took photos and play some of them. This mushroom is round and it's not huge I thought that this particular mushroom is what we call puffball mushroom and thought that it will grow big overnight but the next morning I looked at them it's still the same size. So it was not puffball mushroom. What I did is flip the mushroom to see what's on the back and was surprised because it looked like a pig snout, hehehe!

I see a lot of mushrooms all over our backyard too. And just like you, I am shutter-happy every time I see them.
We had them when the heavy rains came, but they are gone now. I did make pictures of some of them. Plan to feature them later on.
They are plentiful right now and it's tough to know if they are edible or not. These are really nice shots.
that one definitely looks eatible to me. Mine is definitely not...
but some mushrooms makes interesting Macror

What wonderful textures in these spongy mushrooms!
Great shots; I stumbled upon some mushrooms on one of our nature walks recently, a little "family" of them as my daughter said, because there were four of them :)
fab photos :)
Good idea, " better safe than sorrt". I know nothing about wild mushrooms either and would never dare to venture into the possibility of a mushroom being edible. store bought kind for me and my family only! nice pictures. Ann
I saw a mushroom today and was kicking myself for not having my camera. I like your photos.
