Lupine

After Morel hunting yesterday (which we didn't find any ^_^) hubby and I proceeded to our local greenhouse to  buy some top soil and flowers. I find  this blossom as very beautiful. I forgot to get the name of this one much so to take picture ( I am afraid somebody might scold me) but when I saw somebody taking picture of some of the flowers I started to take a picture too. Next time I am going to visit in that greenhouse, I will bring my big camera and take a lot of picture I promise ^_^

That is a very pretty domestic lupine flower. I have wild ones all around here, but they're not blooming yet!

That is a lovely ruby! I can think of a few places where a plant like this would add beauty to our small yard!

Nice photo. We don't often see these lupines in red or any other colors around here in Wisconsin. Usually purple or white in the roadside ditches. This is a beautiful specimen.

Peace.

Its a beautiful lupine. I tried to plant them one year but failed to grow back the following year. They are big and majestic. I've never seen a red one. Thanks for sharing. I'm a new follower.

You've captured the lupines so perfectly! We always admire them growing on the roadsides in Wisconsin, but I've never been able to grow them here. Lovely picture!
Happy REDnesday!

Stunning! Interesting that you were hunting Morels, because this lupine is probably the one called Morello Cherry. I have seeds for them, but forgot to plant them this Spring. Will have to do it next year.
