The Bee

Well I have heard that most of the plants sold in all major retail stores is 53% (tested) positive for bee-killing NEONICOTINOIDS. As before you buy for sure the sales woman/man will just give you a black face they don't right? They even don't know that it affects their health if they are expose on these chemicals for long. So then I realize I should buy my flowers at the farmers market they are cheaper and I think they don't have Monsanto in their plants. We bloggers love our bees and flowers right so it is about time we have to know what we plant poor bees I do not know about this. Took this photo at the Lavender Festival here in MI. Our World Tuesday

Two weeks ago in our very own township had their fireworks display but we did not go because it seems a bit cold that night. But last weekend I decided to watch another fireworks display which is very close to our house. Indeed, we had a blast! It was a good 20 minutes display of fireworks I guess people do love it and hoping to watch it again next year. For now looking forward to my trip to Canada wohoooo!!

Water Drops

We had rain the other day which is really good for plants and other crops though. After the rain I like to go out and take photos of my flowers and water droplets.

Weekend Reflection

We may not have anymore snow but then rain is here for a while I think. It feels that we are a month behind supposed to be May but then it feels like April with all the rain and wind. Remember the saying April showers bring May flowers well we had lots of rain this month and last April we had our last (cross my fingers) snow and we had hail too! Is that something like weird but I cannot complain more that is nature playing and I cannot do anything about it. Here is my reflection!

Mi Mushroom

When I spotted this at our local hardware store I could not resist buying it. My train of thougts were speeding like crazy. One thought that come up is that I am going to put this in our backyard where I found a good mushroom place. But hubby told me to try growing it first in the box so we could see how does it look. When it grew big after 10 days (every day I get excited watching the mushroom getting big) I could not help but cut it and cook it right away and it taste really good. After my first harvest I thought there will be no more mushroom growing but I was wrong it did grow back hehe. I am a happy camper because I think I have to go back to the store and buy another one and then maybe I will scatter it in my mushroom place. ^_^

Anthurium Close Up

My first ever Anthurium plants. I remember when I was in college my mom started to like this plant. She started to collect different colors but then we live in the city our space is not big enough to make big garden so she settled to pots which was a very good idea then. When I spotted this flower at the store it immediately reminds me of my mom.
